GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Assist
Behavioral Specialist with therapeutic behavioral support for consumers; assist
with increasing functional life skills and deter behaviors that could cause out-of-home
placement. Provide quality care to assist
consumers in achieving their optimal potential in the least restrictive
environment possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist with development,
maintenance, and implementation of consumer treatment plans. Assist in daily program activities with
consumers. File documentation on a daily
basis.
QUALIFICATIONS: HS
Diploma/GED; one year direct care experience working with children and/or adolescent
programs, including but not limited to boy/girl scouts, youth groups, and/or
prevention activities, preferred; valid Driver’s License
with acceptable DMV record. Associates
Degree in a Human Services field, preferred.
