WORK HOURS:      Position # 1:

                             Week 1:  Mon. – Fri. 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Sat. & Sun. – Off

                                             Week 2: Mon–Tues.2:00p.m.-10:00p.m.; Wed.-Thurs. - Off;

                                              Fri. – Sun. 2 p.m. -10:00p.m

                                            

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:  Provide direct care and supervision of mentally challenged adults. Duties will include food preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation of residents. Applicants should have an understanding of the dynamics and demands of residential care, including daily living skills, behavior management, role modeling, working with team model and documentation.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Assist with developing and implementing consumer treatment plans. Monitor, evaluate, train and provide direct care; to individuals with mental retardation in a residential facility. Exercise sound judgment, demonstrate initiative, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures which comply with legal, administrative and Medicaid mandates.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  HS Diploma/GED; one year direct care work experience in a MR residential setting; Food Handlers Certification; valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record.
