GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Provide
a variety of clinical services to SMI/SED/YAR/MR/SA populations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide
mental health and substance abuse services including assessments, referrals,
admissions, intakes, crisis intervention and short term therapy to consumers
with a variety of mental health illnesses.
Responsibilities include identifying third party payer restrictions,
schedule services, and linkage/referrals to other service providers and/or
community agencies for non-priority populations. Provide mental health, mental retardation, and
substance abuse consultation to other agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s
Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling, one (1) year clinical work
experience in a mental health or substance abuse facility or similar setting;
LPC, LCSW or LCP; valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record.
