WORK HOURS:       Forty (40) Hours

Work Schedule May Flex to Accommodate Program Needs

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:  Assist in the provision of services to primarily mentally ill/ substance abusing adolescents.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Provide consumer assessments, to include determination of initial services for priority populations, i.e. mentally ill/substance abusing adolescents; schedule services; linkage/referrals to other service providers.  Provide counseling, plan, develop, coordinate, consult, and implement mental health/ substance abuse support services that provide treatment, education, rehabilitation, and support services to mentally ill/substance abusing adolescent consumers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling; one ( 1 ) year clinical work experience in a MH/SA facility or similar setting, two ( 2 ) years preferred; valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record required; Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or Certified Additional Counselor (CAC), preferred.
