Individual Family Support

• Identify and obtain resources to meet consumer needs

• Help relieve family stress associated with caring for a mentally retarded consumer

• Allow the consumer to reach an optimal level of independence and quality of life

This is a systematic approach to support and services for an individual/family.  This gives the families/care providers the opportunity to contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation services for their family member.
