Western Tidewater Community Services Board Mental Health Services promotes individual and community well-being by minimizing mental health illnesses, emotional disturbance, and severe emotional distress.

Our staff is dedicated to:
  • assisting and supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses
  • empowering individuals with a mental health disorder to live independent productive lives and achieve their fullest potential as valued and contributing members of their communities
  • providing services for persons in acute psychiatric or emotional distress
  • supporting families of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbances

  • Case Management Services

  • Prevention Services
  • HIV Prevention and Early Intervention Services
  • Psychosocial Rehabilitation
