The Mission of HIV Prevention and Early Intervention Services is to provide outreach counseling, testing, and HIV case management to a diverse population with statistical or known risk for development of HIV.
Consumer satisfaction is one of our primary goals. Consumer, family members, primary care physicians, and other referral sources, provide information to help us remain responsive to consumer and community needs.
HIV Services include the following:
- education and support for people affected by HIV
- education and support for family and friends who want to learn more about the virus and ways they can positively support the infected person.
- support groups
- free Confidential HIV testing and education for the community
o OraQuick Advance Testing
o OraSure Testing
o Risk reduction planning with either an abstinence or safer sex option(tailored to the group or individual)
- limited case management which includes
- linking to other resources
- transportation
