JOB TITLE:  MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN

                                    Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services

 

POSITION:                #0802

 

WORK HOURS:       Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

 

WORK SITE:            Franklin, Virginia – Independence House   

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:  Serve as a role model and advocate for consumers by providing rehabilitation support and assistance as required for their physical and mental well being.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Promote utilization of community services and resources, supervise and train consumers in ADLs, assist in implementation and documentation of treatment plans, assist with medication management and medical record filing as necessary.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  HS Diploma/GED or VHST graduate.  AAS in related field and two years direct care experience in rehabilitation programming preferred. Valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record.
