PT/PRN Van Driver

Western Tidewater CSB is seeking a Part-Time Van Driver for our Main Street Opportunity Program located in Courtland, VA.

Responsibilities and Duties for a Van Driver:

• Transports consumers to assigned program destination, ensures that proper safety standards are maintained on board the vehicle.

• Complete daily records and maintain paperwork.

• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety equipment inspections.

• Communicate effectively with diversified groups of people.

• Assist physically/mentally challenged individuals entering and exiting the vehicles as required.

Qualifications and Skills for a Van Driver:

• HS Diploma or GED, one year work experience transporting individuals;

• Valid VA. Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record (Required).

• Ability to lift fifty pounds; pre-employment physical and annually, thereafter.

• Commercial Driver’s License (Required)
