Western Tidewater CSB is seeking qualified Case Managers for our School Intervention Program (SCIP) department.
**Substance Abuse and/or Mental Health experience is preferred for this position. **
Responsibilities and Duties for Case Manager:

Teach consumers appropriate strategies to manage behavioral and mental health symptoms

Assist with consumer service plans related to identified needs and goals
-
Assist consumers in gaining access to appropriate medical, psychiatric, social, educational, vocational and other support and services
-
Provide consumer training/reinforcement, linkage to supports/services
-
Advocate on behalf of consumer, family and providers
-
Monitor/assess service delivery
-
Behavior management and crisis intervention.
Qualifications and Skills for Case Manager:

BA/BS in Human Services
-
One-year direct care experience with individuals with SMI, SA, or who are dually diagnosed

Must be QMHP-C

Must possess a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable DMV record.
