Western Tidewater CSB is seeking individuals to help with Transportation Needs throughout our agency.
**Experience with clients transporting clients with medical or mental health concerns preferred. **
Responsibilities and Duties for Van Driver:

Transports consumers to assigned program destination, ensures that proper safety standards are maintained on board the vehicle.

Complete daily records and maintain paperwork.

Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety equipment inspections.

Communicate effectively with diversified groups of people.

Assist physically/mentally challenged individuals entering and exiting the vehicles as required.
Qualifications and Skills for Van Driver:

High School Diploma or GED
-
One year work experience transporting individuals with ID/DD or SMI- Preferred

Valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record- Required

Ability to lift fifty pounds

CDL not required but preferred for Van Driver

Pre-employment physical and annually, thereafter.
