Brain Injury Rehabilitation Support Team (BIRST)
Brain Injury Rehabilitation Support Team (BIRST) is a community-based support program. BIRST serves individuals with Brain Injuries, Neurocognitive Disorders (NCD), and/or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

BIRST’s primary goal is to provide wrap around services focusing on improving motor, social and cognitive skills.
Mental Health Services Provided:
- Specialized Outpatient Therapy
- Specialized Case Management Services
- Specialized Day Treatment Program
- Community Partner Home
To participate in the BIRST program, individuals must be a resident of the Region Five service area, be eighteen (18) years of age or older and must have a diagnosis of a Neuro-Cognitive Disorder, Brain Injury, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. To get started, schedule an appointment.
