What Is Youth Substance Abuse Treatment?
Our Youth Substance Abuse Treatment (YSAT) program is specially designed to treat and support youth aged 16-25 who are experiencing substance-related issues.
YSAT is a 14-session treatment plan that:
- Utilizes elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Includes 10 individual sessions with adolescent
- Includes 4 sessions with caregiver (2 individually plus 2 with the caregiver and adolescent)
Treating substance abuse is about more than medical detox.
We use integrated substance use and mental health person-centered treatment to help clients understand and process the root of their issues with substance use. Counseling also helps individuals to develop the skills and confidence they need to recover and move forward.
