What Is Substance Abuse Counseling?
Treating substance abuse is about more than medical detox. We use integrated substance use and mental health person-centered treatment to help clients understand and process the root of their issues with substance use.
Counseling also helps individuals to develop the skills and confidence they need to recover and move forward.
Our Substance Abuse Counseling Program:
- Helps individuals develop skills and confidence to meet daily living needs
- Is offered in individual and group therapy types
- Offers pregnant substance abuse users priority treatment services within 48 hours
- Gives injecting drug users are provided priority treatment services within 14 days
Who Is Substance Abuse Counseling For?
WTCSB offers counseling for anyone struggling with substance abuse throughout the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton.
Our adult counseling service is for individuals aged 18 or older and for youths aged 16-25 we offer a special Youth Substance Abuse Treatment Program. For children under 16 please inquire individually.
