Anthony Allen

Anthony Allen is a dedicated and compassionate Resident in Counseling that utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He holds a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and is currently completing his residency under supervision at Western Tidewater CSB.

Anthony is deeply committed to helping individuals overcome obstacles and improve their mental well-being using evidence-based CBT techniques. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, he provides empathetic and client-centered therapy to support individuals in achieving their therapeutic goals.

With a background in psychology and a passion for helping others, Anthony brings a warm and non-judgmental approach to his work. He collaborates closely with his clients to understand their unique experiences and challenges, working together to develop practical strategies for managing symptoms and improving coping skills.

Anthony has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and stress-related issues. He tailors his approach to meet the specific needs of each client, drawing from a variety of CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, exposure therapy, and mindfulness.

In addition to his clinical work, Anthony is dedicated to ongoing professional development and regularly participates in supervision, training workshops, and continuing education seminars to enhance his skills and knowledge in CBT. He is passionate about empowering his clients to make positive changes in their lives and is honored to be a part of their journey towards healing and growth.
