Stephanie Harrell

Stephanie Harrell is a licensed clinical social worker and a certified clinical trauma professional who has been practicing for almost 30 years. She attended Virginia Tech, The College of William and Mary, Old Dominion University, and Norfolk State University. She was a Child Mental Health Fellow and a Rhodes Scholar candidate and graduated in 1994 with a Master’s degree in clinical social work.

She has served in various positions in non-profits, to include the Regional Director of Catholic Charities of Northeastern N.C. and has held various leadership positions at a number of CSBs in the Tidewater area. She was also an adjunct professor at Christopher Newport University, teaching psychology and sociology classes. At the present time, she is happily working at Western Tidewater CSB as the Criminal Justice Program Supervisor. She loves to laugh and wishes for a world that is trauma-informed.
