Harbour View Treatment Center

I am a proud alumnus of Norfolk State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a concentration in African American Psychology. I attended grad school at Liberty University with a Master’s in Clinician Mental Health, where I learned to implement a Biblical worldview within the therapeutic setting. I have worked with various populations and issues. Furthermore, I am experienced in serving populations such as children, teens, adults, Seniors, and individuals on the Autistic spectrum.

The therapeutic journey is a delicate one and should be handled with intentional care. I am invested in collaborating with individuals to promote lasting change. As a clinician, I enjoy helping in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and increasing self-awareness. I enjoy assisting clients to build stronger relationships by developing healthy boundaries and increased communication.

I provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling. Some areas of specialty include treatment of anxiety and depression, trauma treatment, play therapy, ADHD/ADD, self-esteem/rejection, relational conflict, and abandonment. My therapy style is geared towards a humanistic approach. I utilize various modalities because I believe therapy should be a customized experience, focusing on the client’s needs. I have a client-centered approach, and I emphasize the unconditional acceptance and free expression of my clients.

My mission is to provide intentional individualized care in a safe, welcoming, and compassionate place towards healing and empowerment. My goal as an Intentionality therapist in treatment is. “To Handle My Clients Care On Purpose, With Purpose.” As an intentional therapist, I help my clients navigate various issues by giving meaning to experiences and allowing them to make decisions about the future using a strengths-based approach.
