Central Admissions Process

The Central Admissions team at Western Tidewater CSB (WTCSB) was designed to increase direct access to our crisis stabilization and residential services: Tidewater COVE Assisted Living Facility (The COVE), BRIDGES Children’s Crisis Stabilization unit (BRIDGES), and our REACH Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH).

Our team works to quickly review referrals and determine if residential placement is right for you, coordinating with family members, healthcare providers, and community services to ensure the best outcome for your clients.

This process is only for admission referrals. If you are a community member wishing to request an appointment or service directly, use the form here.

How to start a referral with the Central Admissions Team

  • Obtain the referral forms from WTCSB – Start by collecting the necessary referral packet from WTCSB’s Central Admissions Team, ensuring you have all the required forms to move forward with the process. Referrals forms can be obtained by emailing Central Admissions at admissions@wtcsb.org.
  • Complete the packet with all required documentation – Take the time to thoroughly fill out the packet, including all required documents and information to ensure a smooth and efficient review. For any questions or concerns regarding referral forms, please email or call Central Admissions.
  • Submit the completed packet to the Central Admissions team for review – Email your completed packet to admissions@wtcsb.org
  • Begin preparations for admission – If eligibility is met, the next step is to prepare for your client’s admission. This includes working with Central Admissions to schedule necessary assessments, coordinate transportation, and finalize all details for a smooth transition into the program.
