In honor of Black History Month, Western Tidewater Community Services Board would like to spotlight Black-owned local businesses in our community and to show them our love and support. Today we are highlighting retail through Less Than.
Less Than is Hampton Road’s and Richmond’s first zero waste + refill shop. All of our products are packaged plastic-free or without packaging. All packaging is biodegradable, recyclable, compostable or reusable. All ingredients are natural, plant-based, biodegradable, and cruelty-free making Less Than people and planet friendly.
Our refill station allows guests to purchase powder and liquid goods such as dish and hand soap, laundry detergent, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, all purpose cleaner, etc., by the ounce using their own container or one of ours. We offer free containers that we collect from the community, sanitize, and make available in our refill stations.
We recently launched the areas first dry (non-alcohol) bottle shop called Ceremony. Ceremony curates the largest selection of alcohol-free beer, wine, spirits, bitters, mixers, and mocktails. Ceremony extends our mission of intentional living by making it easier for individuals to live the life they want to live.
We’re on social media @golessthan and @enjoyceremony and online at golessthan.com and enjoyceremony.com
