June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month
Gun violence has been steadily getting worse the past few years. In 2022, there were over 48,000 firearm-related deaths in the U.S., according to provisional mortality data. That’s about 132 people each day. That’s why Gun Violence Awareness Month is so critical. Raising awareness of the enormity of the problem – and the ways we can prevent gun violence – can save lives.
